Ecompetia is a technological developer that carries out e-commerce, CRM and e-marketing solutions for clients. We are developers of e-procurement, marketplace and B2B software for suppliers. Ecompetia is a specialist dedicated to solutions that improve company’s internal resources, such as Internet, extranet and E-learning platforms.
Based in Spain, Ecompetia develops solutions for the industrial sector, and is involved as coordinator and developer in National programs for Scientific Investigation (PROFIT), programs financed by Science & Technology Ministry.

In the same way Ecompetia has participated in many European projects such as Leonardo European projects which are especially dedicated to foment cultural and social aspects of prevention of the quality of the workplace in relation to the efficiency of enterprises and the needs of workers.

Communications Engineering Department (DICOM) of the University of Cantabria. DICOM has five research groups: Microwave Engineering and Radio communication Systems, Network Planning and Mobile Communications Laboratory, Signal Processing, Antennas and Propagation and Applied Electromagnetism.

The Information Technologies Group belongs to the Applied Mathematics and Computer Science Department (DMAyCC) of the University of Cantabria. This group has participated in national and european proyects related with information society and healthcare information systems. They have had a strong collaboration with national industries and helthcare sites in the design and implementation of Information Sistems.
